After 25 years of selling sausage in bright yellow packaging featuring a pot bellied pig, we thought it was about time for a fresh new look. Fresh like our sausage, that is. We’re debuting a whole new look for our products with updated labels – but don’t worry, our never-frozen recipe hasn’t changed one bit.
The excitement about our new labels got us thinking about how to share them with our customers. So, what better way than for Uncle Charley’s to host an unveiling contest and event at Wholey’s in Pittsburgh on Monday, February 16?
Our CEO Len Caric invites you to stop out and “Snap a Selfie With A Sausage” for the chance to win free sausage for an entire year. There will also be plenty of family fun, with recipe demonstrations, product sampling and coupon giveaways.
If you can’t make it to the event, have no fear! We’ll be selecting two winners: one from the event and one from social media entries.
Make sure you hold on to your submissions until February 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. – any submissions before that time will not count.
“Snap A Selfie With A Sausage” Contest Details
Snap a selfie with the new Uncle Charley’s packaging using the hashtag #SnapASausage. To qualify, you must post your selfie, along with the contest hashtag, to either Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. One entry per person per day.
Opportunities to Win:
There are two opportunities to win.
First, one lucky fan who attends the in-store event at Wholey’s at 11 a.m. on Feb. 16 will win free sausage for an entire year. That fan must follow the above stated rules and CEO Len Caric will draw the fan’s name at the event.
Second, the contest will launch on social media on Feb. 16 and continue until Mar. 15, 11:59 PM EST. Fans must follow the above state rules, posting to an applicable social media site with the hashtag #SnapASausage. The winner will be randomly selected and notified the week of March 15.
The two selected winners will receive free sausage coupons good for one sausage product each week for an entire year.
