Christmas morning isn’t just about opening presents. It’s also about waking up to a delicious Christmas morning breakfast. Many families have a yearly Christmas breakfast tradition. A particular dish that mom or dad makes just once a year. If you’re trying to find the right recipe for your Christmas morning celebration, we’ve compiled this list of a few favorites we’ve found online. Bon Appétit!
CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST SAUSAGE CASSEROLE
This delicious casserole recipe is particularly inviting and yummy on a cold wintery white Christmas morning. Generally a hit with the entire family, 1 pound of Uncle Charley’s pork sausage or maple breakfast links can be used in this recipe.
Please note, this recipe does call for crumbled sausage. We recommend this page for tips on how to easily crumble sausage.
Other ingredients include eggs, shredded mild cheddar cheese, milk, white bread (one reviewer used hash browns instead), and mustard powder.
HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
1 pound of Uncle Charley’s pork sausage shares the stage with hash browns, eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese in this delicious and easy breakfast casserole. Just cook up the sausage and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the meat crumbles.
Get the hash browns crispy by broiling them with oil in a baking dish as you cook the sausage. Picante or green hot sauce and sour cream can be added for a Tex Mex flare.

SAUSAGE & GREENS BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
This classic casserole is delicious and easy to make! Remove the casings and sauté some Uncle Charley’s breakfast sausage with some baby spinach, oregano, and sweet onion.
Lay that over about 4 cups of frozen diced potatoes and then pour some beaten eggs and milk over top of it. Finally, top it all off with some shredded Italian cheeses then bake until there’s a visible nicely browned top.

APPLE, SAUSAGE & SMOKED CHEDDAR BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
This omelet-inspired rustic casserole adds comfort, warmth, and happiness to your Christmas morning. Use about 1 pound of Uncle Charley’s breakfast sausage links with sourdough bread, large eggs, milk, cubes of smoked cheddar cheese, and 2 peeled, crisp, and firm apples.
The cheese adds a smoky creaminess to every bite. The apples provide crunchiness with every forkful.
LOW-CARB BREAKFAST CASSEROLE WITH SWEET ITALIAN SAUSAGE, MUSHROOMS & CHEESE
While many of us admittedly omit dieting from holiday festivities, others see this time of year as a test of discipline and willpower. For that person, there’s this guilt-free low-carb breakfast casserole. Simply brown some Uncle Charley’s sweet Italian sausage with a bit of olive oil and mix some low-fat cottage cheese in with eggs, mushrooms, optional seasoning, and Parmesan and pizza cheese.
Bake the casserole for about 25 minutes or until it’s slightly browned on top. Then enjoy this wonderful no-guilt Christmas breakfast or brunch delight!
